Ultimate works as a skin or module on a free open source software called JAlbums. You need to download this at http://jalbum.net/ before you can use Ultimate. Down load the Ultimate skin here and install in the JAlbum skins folder folder see here.

Once the Ultimate skin has been installed in JAlbums please select the skin type Ultimate

The style window is empty when the ULTIMATE skin is selected. The theme/style is selected from the settings tab.

Now select the Settings Tab in Jalbums

NOTE: If you do not see the ULTIMATE Tab as shown below, then you have not selected the correct version of JAVA when installing Jalbums. You need to fully unistall JAlbums and the reinstall selecting the latest version of JAVA, it is the SECOND question that is asked by the JALABUM install wizard.

The first four tabs you see are generic to JAlbums but it is good idea to get to know Jalbums, we spent months researching the best system to generate ULTIMATES albums, and for good reason, get to know the features in this truly astonishing software from Jalbums.

Select the tab named "ULTIMATE" to add/edit the setting of the Ultimate Skin.

If you want to dive straight in, then the Beauty of Jalbums and ULTIMATE is that it is very user friendly.

Firstly create a folder called "TEST", within the Test folder place two other folder named "Folder_1" and "Folder_2" (It is very important that there are no SPACES in your folder names or image file names, you MUST replace with an underscore_There is a tool in JAlbums to perform this on image file names). Within Folder 1 & 2 put 15-20 test images. Now just drag and drop the Test Folder onto the main window on JAlbums and Generate album.Click on preview gallery.

When a gallery is viewed on your local PC using Internet Explorer you will be asked if to accept active X Control. This is not requested when the gallery is uploaded to your website

Ultimate Settings

There are 6 setting tabs, all are very easy to understand and are self explantory. After you change any settings please ensure to press the "Apply Changes" button

The Pricing Tab is shown below with a key.

Key

Load: Loads a pricing chart
Saves: Saves the pricing chart
New Quantity: Insert a new quantity price break
Delete Quantity: Delete a quantity price break (any price in that quantity needs to be highlighted)
New Item: Adds a new item/product row
Delete Item: Deletes a highlighted Item

After you have filled in all tabs, run a few tests as above. In no time at all you will be creating galleries and albums.
