Creating a gallery with ULTIMATE View

Hi,

Nearly there, a few more bits to do. Have been testing it on live jobs recently, and it works a dream. Although you can put in any amount of text/images on the front page, keep it to a minimum. Have added some flashing gifs to make the buy button more prominent.

The very worst thing you can hear when printing onsite is when you have a que of 20 people with money in there hand wanting to buy prints and someone asks "Can you buy online?" and then your money just walks away with your buisness card and your website address. Nobody qued for more than 3 minutes and they all found it easy to use. You can hear them egg each other on, "buy that one, and that one"

From the printing point of view, the changing of the file names to the order details and saving the image to a set location was a masterstroke by Santi (all hail Santi), it is so easy to know what has been ordered and the ordered image (and just the ordered images) are infront of you. And thats all you do, is print and take cash, print and take cash, print and ta............

1 main pc, 2 nd laptop with extra monitor via thinsoft, all networked.

A bit of a polish then we are done

Hi,

I have been asked a few times which is the best pose that sells most.

Any comments or what works for you please add.

Thanks

Mark

A case study for a school prom, using ULTIMATE View (beta) for onsite sales and ULTIMATE Deluxe for online sales. The online gallery can be seen here

Here is different one, when you have a little bit more time, or you see the lady preening her man...

Poses for friends and groups, can be good sellers, especially the girls.

A bit of fun, but outstanding work (not by me)

Hi,

I atteneded a seminar yesterday and was talking to a few photographers about selling montage prints online. They asked "Do you sell montages on-line?"

Got this order in yesterday when i got back, with paypal confirmation.

The answer is a definate YES..

The order £168 ($300)

Paypal Comfirmation

Ultimate Deluxe does not create money out of nothing, but what it does do is maximise your earnings for far less work. In May 2008, 30.38% of my total sales online was montage prints.

Took me 20 minutes to complete all montages, (Tip: learn how to allign layers using vertical and horizontal allign)

I have added the line to my introduction text of my two last jobs:

"To compare just add to your basket, and then remove if wished.. Enjoy!!"

They are comparing, but there not removing, average order value up by 32%.

Works for me.

Good luck

Mark
